DO I NEED TO BE A CLUB MEMBER TO BOWL?

No, but membership gives you access to all of our leagues and social events throughout the year. Because we all love getting together at the clubhouse and playing something, even during rainy months, we also now have Game Nights, where we play Bridge, Dominoes, Mahjong, etc. We even roll indoors when the weather is really nasty.

Non-members can drop-in during our public events or schedule a free introductory lesson. Our most popular are Friday Night Bowls (July/August), Sunday on the Greens  (all year) and our Open House during Beacon Fest, first Saturday in June. Friendly club members will greet you and introduce you to our club. Some of these open times are subject to rentals and tournaments, please check our calendar before your visit.

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?

Very little! Flat soled shoes. That's pretty much it. We offer a free hour of instruction so that you can walk onto the greens with enough information to play.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN EQUIPMENT?

Nope! We have plenty of bowls for all hand-sizes and strengths. We even have junior sizes!

Do I have to wear white?

Only if you want to. We do have occasions to wear white, but most of the time we wear whatever is comfortable to bowl in. That said, our members tend to like to wear funny hats and occasionally die their beards green. You just need flat-soled shoes, flip flops or even bare feet are okay in the summer.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Kids under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult. We have youth bowls, and are happy to teach kids how to play.

When is the bowling season?

We bowl all year 'round, including New Years's Day. It does take the hardiest of players to bowl in the wind and rain, but it makes them better bowlers. If you fancy yourself a true Pacific Northwest bowler, a little rain means nothing. All that said, May-October are our busiest months on the greens.

Nothing beats bowling at sunset in August. Come give it a try!
